You won’t believe these vegan, gluten-free brownie bites are completely raw and fruit-based! Medjool dates from Morocco blended with walnuts and cocoa powder create a rich, chocolate treat perfect for a special occasion, party, or holiday. Feel free to roll brownie bites in nuts or other toppings if you do not care for coconut—the possibilities are endless.
Dates have detoxifying fiber, which lowers blood cholesterol, and potassium which helps regulate blood pressure and is an important electrolyte. Walnuts have fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids. They also have vitamin E which supports healthy brain function. Cocoa is full of catechins that can help inhibit and fight cancer cells. While these brownie bites are sugar-free, please note that dates have plenty of fructose.
