Can You Repair and Heal Cells with Voltage?

                      Published by FoodTrients

                      Power man

The premise of Healing is Voltage, the new book by Jerry Tennant, MD, MD (H), PSc.,D, is that wherever the body has low voltage, there is a problem that often manifests itself as chronic pain. Every cell in the body is designed to run at -20 to -25 millivolts. To heal, we must make new cells. To make a new cell requires -50 millivolts. According to Tennant, chronic disease occurs when voltage drops below -20 and/or you cannot achieve -50 millivolts to make new cells. Thus chronic disease is defined by having low voltage. Voltage is synonymous with pH. In fact, a voltmeter can be used to measure pH.

A pH meter can give you a reading of either pH or millivolts. It’s actually easier to understand what’s going on if you use millivolts. A pH of 7.35 equates to -20 millivolts of electron donor. A pH of 7.45 is -25 millivolts of electron donor. Cells are designed to run in an environment of -20 to -25 millivolts.

voltageDr. Tennant’s own journey to healing when he developed encephalitis after having laser eye surgery. He was forced to quit work in 1995 and spent seven years bedridden without hope of recovery. After seeing a variety of doctors in New York and Boston who offered him no hope, Dr. Tennant realized that he had to figure out how to get himself well. He believed that if he could figure out how to make one cell work, he could make the all work, and heal his body.  He knew that cells must run at a pH between 7.35 and 7.45, but didn’t understand how significant pH balance is in healing the body and aging well.

For measuring the body’s voltage, Dr. Tennant has developed a device called the Tennant BioModulator. This device allows one to measure the voltage either over areas of pain or over what Dr. Tennant has named Bioteminals. The Bioterminals and other points tie in with chakra and acupuncture points and, hence, specific organs. If low voltage is found, the device can be used to raise the voltage in the low voltage areas. Areas of chronic or acute pain can be helped in a short time by raising the voltage in that area. Of course, if there is a low general pH, that issue must be addressed over time.

Ideally, our bodies should be slightly alkaline. A less than optimal pH will lead to cellular aging and the possible development of cancer, pain, inability to heal properly, infections, and general ill health.

For healing to take place, a more alkaline environment (with even more electrons available than normal) is needed. Antioxidants like vitamin C or glutathione are valuable because they are electron donors which help counteract oxidants (electron stealers). Some other electron donors are low level lasers, essential oils, homeopathic remedies, being grounded, and alkaline. Some electron stealers are root canals, mercury fillings, processed foods, acid water and carbonated beverages.

We are constantly wearing out our cells and have to replace them. We get new cones in our retina and replace the lining of our gut every 2-3 days. We replace our skin every 6 weeks and our liver every eight weeks. Chronic disease occurs when we lose our ability to make new cells. This book discusses how that happens and what to do to correct it.

We get sick when we cannot achieve -50 millivolts and thus cannot make new cells. This leads to chronic disease and all chronic disease is defined by having low voltage.

Chronic disease occurs when voltage drops below -20 millivolts. As voltage drops, these things happen:

                      1. Cells don’t have enough energy to work correctly.
                      2. Chronic pain is caused by low voltage.
                      3. As voltage drops, the amount of oxygen in cells drops, switching from aerobic (oxygen- available) metabolism to anaerobic (oxygen diminished) metabolism.
                      4. With anaerobic metabolism, microorganisms begin to grow and put out toxins to dissolve our cells so they can eat us.
